I started taking classes at Foundation Yoga & Wellness Center in 2004 to rebuild function after a full hip replacement and I got so much more than I’d hoped for: Improved core strength and a deeper sense of physical confidence. I am limited by a low spine injury from childhood and as I age, I am more aware of the importance of mobility and balance. I hike a lot so my lower body becomes very tight and coming to Yoga classes allows me to stretch more consistently and deeper than I would on my own.
Since I started classes at Foundation Yoga, I’ve noticed increased flexibility, especially in my upper body and neck. It’s an excellent balance to my more rigorous fitness work-outs. I appreciate the slow flow sequences that are well thought out with very clear and specific instructions.
